Wei Ping worked at the Malaysia Blue Ocean Strategy Institute (MBOSI) as a Research Associate for about three and a half years. During her tenure with MBOSI, she worked closely with the Malaysian Government to create, implement and monitor a wide variety of policy initiatives. These initiatives included 11th Malaysia Plan, Rural Transformation Centre (RTC), linkages between urban and rural etc. She participated in dozens of meeting with high-level officials from the Government and visited the country to meet with the public, understand their needs and then contribute towards policy formulation.
