Wellington Campos was born in Cascalho Rico, on September 30, 1954. He got his Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering in 1978 from UFU, Uberl芒ndia, MG. In 1980 he entered Petrobras as a Petroleum Engineer. In 1985 he got his MsC in Petroleum Engineering from the UFOP, Ouro Preto, MG. In 1995 he got his PhD from the University of Tulsa, in Tulsa, OK. At Petrobras, he has performed many tasks, namely, as a R&D project researcher at Cenpes/Petrobras, where he worked with Drilling and, afterward, Production Engineering and as a Company Man (Fiscal) in Campos Basin, where he managed operations of Drilling, Completion, Well Testing, Stimulation and Workover.
