Wenhong Chen is an assistant professor in the Department of Radio-TV-Film, College of Communication, at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her PhD in Sociology from the University of Toronto. Before joining the faculty, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Duke University. Much of her research has been focused on understanding the implications of new communication technologies in entrepreneurial, organizational and multiethnic settings through network theories and methods.
