I am a vascular surgeon since 1986. Since 2004 I am especially interested in all aspects of venous disease. I perform more than 1000 venous cases a year. I am a experienced in all thermal ablation techniques, Foam Sclerotherapy , Clarivein and Venaseal adhesive. Besides Fundamental and Clinical Research Activities I started in behalf of Covidien with VNUS RF ablation workshops and trainings in life surgery at site in the Middle East, Asia, Africa in our training center Oosterwal, Alkmaar in the Netherlands.
From 6-2012 to 6-2014 I was Director of Residency Training in Phlebology at the University Hospital UMC+ Maastricht
