I have been a forensic scientist for almost forty years. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and a member of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Forensic Scientists. I have published over fifty research articles, review articles and book chapters.
I am one of the founding members of the National Capital Area Skeptics and have been a member of its board of directors since its start. I am currently its secretary.
I have published skeptical articles in Skeptical Inquirer on such topics as Sasquatch footprints, police use of psychics and the Portland African American Baseline Essays.
I have presented talks to skeptical groups on topics such as the Star of Bethlehem
