William Lauder is executive chairman to beauty, fragrance, and fashion conglomerate The Estee Lauder Companies, founded by his grandmother, the iconic Estee Lauder, in 1946. William joined the company in 1986 after a successful academic career in business at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He would begin in roles that would eventually boost his credentials in steering ELC towards its status as one of the most successful conglomerates in beauty and fashion. His presidency of Clinique Laboratories is a legacy on its own, upending his heritage with his personal business success. He is now executive chairman of ELC.
