After graduating high school, I studied General Science at the University of Oregon; emphasizing in Biology and Chemistry. After an educating trip to Costa Rica, my passion for language was uncovered not only in teaching and learning, but multilingual/cultural communication. In 2009, I graduated with a BS in Linguistics with an emphasis in Language Acquisition.
Upon graduation, I returned to Costa Rica to teach. Not only did my time at Centro Educativo de Cobano, Las Ardillitas, improve my Spanish, it opened my perspective to interpersonal interactions, cultural differences and time management.
