William graduated from HKAPA School of Drama in 2002 with a First-Class Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hon.) Degree, majoring in Directing. During his programme of study, he was awarded 鈥淒irector鈥檚 Award鈥�, various scholarships and participated in exchange and study-tours to Vienna, Austria, The Central Conservatory of Drama in Beijing, Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Butler University in Indiana, USA.
