A retired UNHCR staff member, and now a MOVEMENT ENTREPRENEUR, one of the biggest challenges facing Americans (as well as citizens from around the world) is understanding the positive aspects of GLOBALIZATION. I participated in the UN Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai, Japan in March 2015. I am actively involved in supporting existing partnerships and helping to build new partnerships aimed at 'Enhancing Disaster Preparedness for Effective Response, and to Build Back Better in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction, as well as achieving successful Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) outcomes.
