I lived on a sub-tropical island (Okinawa Japan) for 7 years, but now have returned to the U.S. for good. Right now it is just me... My daughter will move here sometime in Oct/Nov. My husband will not move here for a few years due to finishing up his Marine Corps career.
I have one daughter (Kiya) who is 21 and taking her final exams at college on Okinawa. My husband is a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps. We have 3 dogs (1 Rottweiler "Harley", 1 Boxer "Jax", 1 Doberman "Mia") and an Eclectus Parrot ("Daiji"-it means "precious" in Japanese).
