Xavier Nilaya formerly known as Xavier Hall is a candidate house for Patna Jesuit Province. It was established in 1971 with Fr. Mariannan as the Founder Director. The Xth passed boys from the South India used to stay here and do their PUC at St.Joseph's College, before going to Patna for further training. It is a elementary training place for any catholic who wishes to become a Patna Jesuit to work in Patna Mission.
In 2008, old Xavier Hall residence was demolished and New three storey building was erected and re-christened as Xavier Nilaya. The house now has boys from all over India who are willing to serve the People of Bihar. We have had boys from Andhra ,Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karna
