Julio Longo is graduated in Materials Engineering at the UFSC – Brazil with a Master in Materials Science at the TUHH – Germany and the UA – Portugal, his thesis was focused on the technical and economical alternatives to nanotechnology, developed in a partnership between the universities and the Weber Cimenfix – Saint Gobain Company. He also studied Organisation and Strategic Management at the LSE – UK. Previous to this role, he worked for 5 different companies in Brazil (e.g. Roca and Whirlpool) basically in areas such as project, development as well as the quality control of new products.
