It鈥檚 likely no coincidence that I work in an industry that aims to create prosperity from humble beginnings. My own modest background provided me with the drive to succeed and to make good; in the span of almost 30 years, I鈥檝e made the transition from engineer, to senior executive of publicly traded international mining companies.
