Throughout my career, I have developed experimental techniques to investigate scientific problems and develop whole organism solutions from a molecular level. My work in the field of brain cancer pathology trained me to think of the future therapeutic value of results and to direct my research toward developing animal models to treat this disease. After graduate school, I made the challenging transition from academia to industry. My industrial success is marked by high individual productivity as well as the creation of lab-wide initiatives and policies to increase overall output and efficiency.
