I am currently a software engineer at Airbnb. I am passionate about scalable architecture design, functional programming, big data and machine learning.
Before Airbnb, I worked in the modeling Infrastructure team at Rocket Fuel, inc, where I led the effort on developing a Apache spark-based machine learning library that enables easy construction of machine learning pipelines.
I obtained my Ph.D degree on cloud infrastructure from Stony Brook University in 2014. I have published over 25 papers and 1 book in this area.
