I finally finished my M.Div. (Master of Divinity) in May, 2010. I had taken 5 years off to pastor a church in Chicago after I had begun my graduate studies in 2000. We moved to NC and took a couple of years to reestablish before getting back to school. For 2007-2010 I served as an adult Sunday School teacher at Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, NC - the New Life Class. I left that post to strive to plant a church on the East side of Raleigh, NC. That plant is now underway (Sovereign Christ Church) and currently meeting the Core Group in Cary, NC. The goal is to get to Knightdale, NC.
