Setu Chakraborty is a PhD candidate in Marine Biology at Memorial University of Newfoundland studying infection and vaccinology of the lumpfish. He has a MS in Biotechnology from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University and a BSc in Biotechnology from the same institution. His research interests include exploring marine bacterial pathogens in lumpfish and identifying potential vaccines. He has research experience in microbiology, fish handling, vaccinology, and molecular biology. He has published conference abstracts and journal articles on topics related to his research.
