Anika obtained a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Marketing, and a master鈥檚 degree in Communication Science. She finished her PhD project at the VU University of Amsterdam. Her dissertation covers virtual support communities (see below). 鈥ㄢ�–urrently she is an Assistant Professor at the department of Communication and Information Studies at the Radboud University Nijmegen (http://cls.ruhosting.nl/anika_batenburg/).
