UNDP Sub-Office in Crimea was officially opened by the UNDP Administrator Helen Clark in December 2010. The Sub-Office operates on Crimean peninsula as decentralized program and administrative unit of the UNDP in Ukraine. UNDP integrates the resources of international and local partners to address pressing issues of human and social development. The main task of the UNDP Sub-Office in Crimea is supporting joint planning with participation of national and local partners as well as ensuring quality of implementation of UNDP-led nationwide projects in the region through effective coordination and monitoring.
