I am a mother of two, James Nava Jones age 22 and Colton James Knight age 7. I am married to a wonderful man, Joe Don Knight. We have been married for 8 years and live in College Station.
Our first year of marriage had a few bumps that we did overcome. Our wonderful son, Colton was born on March 24, 2003 with Down syndrome. Then 6 weeks later I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I did have chemo and surgery and have been cleared of cancer since my last check-up. As I was going thru chemo and my son recovering from heart surgery I decided to start a Down syndrome suppport group.
