One of the first contemporary art museums in the U.S., the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) is a non-collecting institution dedicated to showcasing the art of the "last 5 minutes." The CAC provides a space for reflection and dialogue around art, where the public can engage with artists, scholars, and each other around contemporary issues. The CAC is an open cultural forum where art is a means for people to connect to each other and to the world outside.
