I have had personal interest in behaviour change and environmentally friendly consumption habits for a number of years, but have finally decided to get the credentials to back up my ideas. This interest began while completing my MSc in economics and globalisation. I am currently exploring how competition and status can influence behaviour or purchase decisions. I utilise Evolutionary Psychology as the overall framework for my research, which can provide useful guidance for designing studies to obtain empirical evidence on the impacts of climate change from an increase in pro-environmental behaviour.
