Professional Experience:
 February 2015 to May 2016  8 Engineer Regiment - Adamstown - Team Supervisor
o Responsible for the day to day administration of the Regiment.
o Liaising with different agencies in regard to pay, expenses and administration of the
Regiment; approximately 212 personnel.
o Ensuring the roll books of 3 locations are correct and forwarded for payment in a timely
manner.
o Relief for Office Supervisor in their absence.
o Ensure travel and associated documentation is correct and processed accordingly.
o Liaising with and advising members in regard to their pay, entitlements and
administration.
o Liaising with Head Quarters 8th
Brigade to ensure special projects are being completed.
o Advising section supervisors on administration matters.
o Supervise up to 10 people.
o Design excel spreadsheets for the management of personal information of regiment
members.
o Preparation and distribution of various reports.
 January 2014 to January 2015  5 Engineer Regiment  Holsworthy  Team Supervisor

o In charge of the Regiment Orderly Room, under supervision of the Office Supervisor.
o Advising the Office Supervisor and Manager on all administrative matters.
o Ensuring that all personnel are being paid correctly  approximately 390 personnel.
o Liaising with different agencies in regard to transfers, promotions etc.
o Organise travel, expenses and accommodation for members either on course or seminars.
o Ensuring that the roll books for all three locations are correct and forwarded for payment
in a timely manner.
o Relief for Office Supervisor in their absence.
 January 2013 to January 2014  21 Construction Regiment - Holsworthy  Office Supervisor
o In charge of the Regiment Orderly Room  staff of up to 10 people.
o Responsible for all administration work within the Regiment
o Arrange travel and accommodation for personnel on courses / activities / exercises.
o Advising the Chief Executive Officer and the Deputy Executive Officer on all administrative
matters.
o Ensuring that all Orderly room staff adhere to WHS practices.
o Complete performance reviews on junior ranks within the orderly room.
o Develop and maintain an effective administrative framework within the Regiment.
o Ensuring that all personnel are being paid correctly  approximately 190 personnel.
o Prepare for the disestablishment of 21 Construction Regiment; ensure that the correct
processes were carried out, files were archived in the proper manner and the
administration process flowed over to the new 5 Engineer Regiment in a seamless
manner, for which I received an award.
o Delegated to a committee of 4 people to organise the Regiment End of an Era Ball
approximately 300 people attended.
o Design excel spreadsheets for use within the Regiment.
 July, 2003 to January 2013  21 Construction Regiment - Holsworthy  Casual Team Supervisor
up to 5 days a week.
o Correspondence, reports, filing, maintenance of registers, telephone liaison with potential
recruits, assisting in the running of recruiting activities, interview potential recruits,
administration for the Squadron personnel, liaison with other units, provide timely data
for Brigade and Regiment spreadsheets.
o In charge of up to 40 private soldiers.
o Administration for up to 50 squadron members.
o Organise travel and accommodation for the Regiment personnel going on courses.
o Nominate members to varying courses and follow up with varying entities.
o Relief for the Office Supervisor  administration of all Regiment members  approx 270
pers.
o Preparing and delivering lessons to recruits.
 Full time carer for my mother from July, 2003 to September 2011.
o Managing all aspect of my mothers day to day mental and physical well being.
o Managing all aspects of her financial affairs on behalf of the family.

o During this period I was completing 3 hours administration work a day with the Army
Reserve for 3-5 days per week.
 Teachers Federation Health Limited - Sydney  Health Insurance - November, 1979 to July,
2003  Secretary/Personal Assistant
o Organising meetings, Preparation of reports, minutes of board meetings, shorthand,
accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation, word processing, excel spreadsheets,
own correspondence, telephone liaison with members and outside entities, payroll
processing (Micropay), reception duties, Member of the Staff Training Committee,
Director of Fed Super Pty. Limited (Trustee of the Staff superannuation fund), organise
travel and accommodation for Management and Board, typing of taxation accounts,
general correspondence and filing, acted as relief for the General Managers secretary/PA
and the company Payroll Officer (120 staff members) in their absence. Design and
produce in house forms using both excel spreadsheets and word documents.
o In the last year of employment I worked from home for 4 days a week, due to the
diminished mental and physical health of my mother.
Awards:
 November 1994 - Awarded the Soldiers Medallion for outstanding performance in my
role in the Enlistment Section.
 December 2008  Commanding Officers Commendation  Consistently providing high
level clerical skills, increasing recruiting numbers and also the retention rate of new recruits.
 October 2013 - Awarded the Junior Non Commissioned Officer of the Year for the Royal
Australian Army Ordnance CORP for continual work above my worn rank.
