I have been a researcher and lecturer in archaeological computing since 1997, with a keen interest more generally in digital humanities, and in the methods and theories of interdisciplinary research practice.
I am chair of the Digital Economy University Strategic research Group and director of the sotonDH Digital Humanities hub at Southampton. I am also co-director of the AHRC sponsored Portus Project – an excavation and survey of the imperial port of Rome. I am also director of the British Academy sponsored Siarum project.
