I'm a PhD Student in Computer Science at UT Austin. I work in Statistical Machine Learning with a special focus towards Ranking and Human Computation, though I am also an expert in other areas such as Large Scale Optimization, Graphical Models and High Dimensional Methods.
My research is on the cusp or theory and practice, with a focus on identifying and strengthening theoretical foundations for methods used in practice.
I plan to graduate in May 2017 and will looking for Research Scientist / Data Scientist jobs in research labs and industry.
