About
After finishing my Ph.D. in analytical chemistry in 2004 in the Gorecki Lab at the University of Waterloo, and a postdoc in the Marriott Lab at RMIT, I had a brief stint in a government laboratory before starting my own research group at they University of Alberta. My group is currently tackling fundamental challenges in GC, GC-MS, and GCxGC.
Research interests include:
- Thermodynamic models for the modeling of GC and GCxGC separations
- Automated feature selection for chemometric treatment of extremely large data sets and applications of chemometric techniques to chromatographic data
- Errors in quantification for GCxGC
