1.0 Background.
I am a Kenyan citizen born on the 7th of January 1974. I am married and a Christian. I hold a
Masters Degree in Commerce; Financial Control & Management option [M.Com (FCM)]. I
specialized in Accounting & Management in my Undergraduate, B.Com (Hons). Both Degrees
were awarded to me by Banaras Hindu University, India. I also hold a Postgraduate Higher
National Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Human Resource
Counseling from Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya. I am a member of the
Professional Body of Human Resource Practitioners of Kenya & Marketing Society of Kenya. I
am an accomplished Business Strategist, Financial Expert, Experienced Marketer, Human
Resource Practitioner, Seller and Manager. I am highly computer literate & apart from English
and Kiswahili, I also speak HINDI fluently.
I have subsequently served as a Consultant, Business Strategist, Manager, Trainer and
Marketer. These skills have been enhanced & polished through working in several multi-cultural

Investment Symposium &
Exhibition
Co-Convenor Western Agribusiness Investment Symposium & Exhibition (WASE) a
platform that brings together stakeholders involved in the agribusiness value
chain within the Lake Victoria Trading Block & ecosystem. The Lake Victoria
Trading Block comprises thirteen (13) counties that border the lake.
These counties are Kisumu, Kakamega, Kisii, Vihiga, Migori, Nyamira,
Busia, Bungoma, Siaya, Homabay, Bomet, Kericho and Trans-Nzoia.
The counties operate a joint economic framework dubbed The Lake Victoria
Region Economic Blueprint. This framework is to be used as a roadmap for
economic development and social revival. It is expected to act as a one-stop-
shop for investors seeking opportunities in the region, and identifies seven
strategic intervention areas namely, agriculture, tourism, education, health,
ICT, financial services and infrastructure. The symposium, under the
Agriculture Pillar, endeavours to unpack value chains for various crops and
commodities, processing & value addition, policy issues, agricultural input
supply chain, agricultural financing and insurance, transport and logistics,
warehousing, energy for Agri- industry, water for agriculture, local, regional and
international market development for the regions crops.
Western Connected Co-Convenor wConnected is a platform that engages stakeholders in exploring the western
regions innovative ecosystem and come up with ways to address market
gaps, accelerate local success and spark the process of the transformation of
Western Kenya.
Hoping to fill in the skills gap many graduates have, the symposium will
provide mentorship, coaching and networking opportunities with the aim of
connecting youth in Western Kenya with the relevant opportunities and skills in
their fields of interest.
Management Consultancy.
I have got over six years work experience gained at corporate level with hands on experience in
designing and implementing performance driven Human Resource Systems coupled with
Organizational Health and Safety procedures. I have strong conceptual background in human
resource management, human resource development and labour relations logistics. I have
proven leadership in active listening, interpersonal skills and labour law matters. I have had
long term exposure and experience in Change Management, Job Evaluation, Project
Management, Financial Management, Research and Development, Executive Training and
