I have worked in the hospitality industry for the past twenty six years, in 2003 he joined the Public Service and today he is Assistant Director in the Office of the Permanent Secretary within the Parliamentary Secretariat for Tourism; his main task is to develop a strategy and policy for local tourism planning. I am also active in several tourism related associations, namely: the European Union for Tourism Officers (EUTO) as Vice President; the Institute of Hospitality (Malta) as Vice Chairman; the Malta Tourism Society as Founder-President and the Malta Cookery and Food Association as Vice Chairman. He is also a freelance tourism journalist and was presented with two awards by the Ministry
