About
Dr Edyvane is marine ecologist with specialist expertise and experience in marine habitats, marine plant biodiversity and Marine Protected Area design and system planning. She has a research (and teaching) background in marine biodiversity, conservation planning, environmental monitoring and assessment, coastal management and marine resource management. Her current research, education and training interests include marine conservation planning, coastal community-based NRM, food security, coastal climate change and local adaptation planning, particularly in Timor Leste and the Arafura and Timor Seas region.
