This week the 4 year old group discussed the changing seasons as autumn arrived on September 21st. They learned that in autumn, leaves fall from trees and some change color. After observing the trees outside the school, the children made a print painting by stamping leaves of different colors with sponges. They continued working on habits and routines, learning to tell stories together, become more independent, and take care of personal hygiene. Their favorite story of the week was "The Dark Fly", which the teacher read to them each day and they even did a small theater performance assigning roles.
