I have been qualified since 2000 and since 2005 have specialised within chronic pain settings. I believe this is an area that has until recently been largely ignored, but an area which will expand as populations age and long term conditions continue to rise. It is an area that can offer challenges but also great rewards.
I also volunteer as a physiotherapist to a group of Island based youth athletes at annual competitions. This is something I really enjoy as it goves the opportunity to help these children realise their full potentials.
