What we did differently:
Get the target to experience the coffee and the
caf辿 and the brand
1. Took coffee to media houses
E.g. the Starbucks team visited the famous
blogger Ms Malini, whos tweet reached her
600K + fanbase
2. Hosted Comedy Nights at Cafes
3. Introduced the brands human side
through Howard Shultzs visit
4. Promoted the skills of the Partners
(baristas)

CHALLENGE: HOW TO BREAK MEDIA IGNORANCE ON CLIENTS BUSINESS
Media did not understand sales enablement - in fact, there is no designated
media beat to cover this space, so traditional PR was not the answer!
What we did differently: Educate Media, dont just inform them.
Explain the value of the clients business to the economy and working population.
Authored articles & relationship meetings to demystify sales enablement.
When GolinOpinion came on board as the communication consultant I was
a little skeptical on how this will pan out. However, looking at where we are
today, I can say that we are progressing in the right direction.
You have made an impact for the brand in terms of visibility and awareness,
which reflects in our recent global award invitations like Red Herring etc.

What we did differently:
Positioned Rapid Metro as more than a commute  it is a platform for creative, innovative people.
We used weekends to get new segments to experience the Metro, by hosting a variety of interesting
activities in the train.
Entertainment on wheels for kids Joy Express launched for
kids a new birthday

HOW TO GET MELBOURNE INTO THE
