I am a writer FIRST ...or storyteller. Or content strategist. However you want to crop it. My first taste of print was in the 7th grade – my English teacher (shout out to Ms. Streibich!) submitted my poem entitled “An African Queen” to the local newspaper with the promise that I would “…someday enrich us through her writing.” And with that, she sealed my fate. Writing has since become a lifelong obligation I’ve felt compelled to fulfill. My interests lie in multimedia storytelling with frequent highlights of the African American experience.
