Ole Conrad has done social work in the non-profit foundation based sector in Denmark since 1997. He has held managing positions all the time. He left university, political science, for a short leave, to study foundation based non-profit social work. He hasn't returned to university, yet. In 2001 he and his wife founded a new foundation, "Holmgård", in nonprofit social work. The social work is inspired by Situated Learning, Positive Psychology, the values from the Scout movement, the humanistic approach and Virginia Satir.
