I'd rather be a "could-be" if I cannot be an "are"- for a "could-be" is a "maybe" who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a "has-been" than a "might-have-been" by far. For a "might-have-been" has never been and a "has" was once an "are".
Grew up a little bit in LA & St. Louis (a short stint in Portland). Ended up in small placed called Guthrie OK where I graduated from H.S. Went to college at what was then called "Central State University," now called "University of Central Oklahoma." Went on to the University of Kansas for graduate school in both Psychology and Business. Came straight from there to here (Saint Louis University). Collected a wife and four daughters along the way...
