Hi there. I think of myself as a dedicated and passionate marine sciences researcher. I have a strong commitment to design and perform science that will help to better understand the evolutionary mechanisms that promote diversification in marine species. My research background is mostly on population genetics and phylogeography. Nowadays I am moving toward high throughput or second generations sequencing technologies. My goal is to become one of the few researchers in marine sciences that uses second generation sequencing technology to understand the role of natural selection and genetic drift shaping the genome architecture of marine species.
