Dr. Lin received his PhD degree in biomedical engineering in 2011 from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. He subsequently worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Academia Sinica in Taiwan and then a visiting research fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 2014. Dr. Lin has extensive training and experience in cardiac tissue engineering, nanotechnology, biomaterials and animal models of cardiovascular disease. He joined Dr. Liao鈥檚 laboratory since Match 2015, focusing on developing a bio-restraint device for cardiac dilatation and a heart-on-chip for cardiotoxicity screening.
