I am, first and foremost, an internet dweller. Since the technology has been available I have been online and hope never to leave. I'm interested in social media, and the cultural norms and values of the internet. Online community (hate the word 'virtual') and how people interact with the physical world is fascinating to me. Digital rights - to privacy, freedom of speech, access and civil liberties are all very important to me, and I believe we need to be wary of curtailing freedoms in the name of protection.
