Currently, I am an elementary English as a Second Language teacher. I will be entering my third year of teaching in the coming school year, working mainly with second grade and possibly some of first grade. This past year I worked with grades 1 & 2 in a co-teaching environment. In my first year of teaching elementary, I mostly worked in an inclusive environment with the mainstream first grade teachers, with little pull out. I have tutored adult students on Skype, Livemocha, and Google. During my time with Memphis City Schools, I am learning about grant writing, Common Core, and other methods of co-teaching.
