Paolo Corti is an environmental engineer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts . He has 20 years of experience in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) field: after working with proprietary solutions for some years, he proudly switched to open source technologies and Python since more than a decade.
Currently he is a Geospatial Engineer Fellow at the Center for Geographic Analysis of the University of Harvard (http://gis.harvard.edu/) and in the past he worked as a software architect, developer and analyst for organizations such as UN World Food Programme, EU Joint Research Centre, World Bank and the Italian Government.
