The International Potato Center (CIP) is a research-for-development organization with a focus on potato, sweetpotato, and Andean roots and tubers. CIP is dedicated to improving food security, well-being, and gender equity in developing countries through research, innovation, and capacity strengthening. CIP conducts scientific research and activities across the food development and market chain to improve yields, quality, nutrition, incomes, and the management of natural resources.
