An Environmental Management professional with an engineering background, Deepa has 18 years of work experience in Malawi, Lesotho, India, Swaziland and South Africa and is currently doing a consultancy at University of Glasgow. She worked at 鈥淟eadership for Environment And Development (LEAD) Southern and Eastern Africa鈥� based in Malawi from 2010-2014 before moving to Swaziland where she is based at Coordinating Assembly of NGOs. She has a B Tech degree in Civil Engineering (India), Post Grad. Dipl in Mangt (India), Masters in Environ. Mangt (University of Free State, SA) and has completed a PhD in Environmental Science from North West University, SA and Post-Doc from Rhodes University.
