I worked as a journalist since 1976, joined the Dutch inland shipping weekly Weekblad Schuttevaer for the first time in 1980, experience in editorial management at tradejournals Eurotrade and Vraag en Aanbod, published the first five editions of Jaarboek Binnenvaart, started www.vaart.nl as a community website for inland shipping and came back to Weekblad Schuttevaer in 2007.
