I am a Research Scientist at Spotify Research, based in London. I obtained my PhD in ML & IR from UCL and am interested in teaching machines to better understand (& thereby model) users & their needs. My research interests lies at the intersection of Machine Learning, User Modelling & Personlization. My current PhD research focusses on developing efficient machine learning models for user tasks & need understanding, knowledge discovery and decision optimization. I collaborate on research related to Web Search & Information Retrieval.
