I'm a veteran information technology journalist, and am currently IT Editor for Condé Nast's Ars Technica. I cover enterprise, government, and defense use of IT; Internet infrastructure, standards, and security; data privacy, security, and exploitation; and other related topics, including lab tests and experiments with tech that fall outside the realm of "product reviews"​. I've been focused on content for the web almost exclusively since 2004, though I've also managed a number of trade and enthusiast print publications.
