This document summarizes the evolution of Project Runway to Rock the Runway, a student-run wearable art fashion show at a high school. It began in 2009 with 11 designers and a circus theme, and has grown significantly over the years. Themes have included masquerade, dreams, and disasters. Lessons learned include addressing poor design, fundraising, modeling confidence, and limiting themes. The show has helped build an artistic community, give students a creative outlet, and boost leadership and confidence. It continues to inspire and influence the school's art program.
