Irwin left North Carolina and moved to Silicon Valley with his wife to pursue technology startups. Since then, he has helped build sales teams, won numerous sales awards, including one for breaking the record for the largest deal, attended multiple president鈥檚 clubs, and has been a leader and mentor on his team. One of the earlier startups he worked with, OKTA, has gone on to list on the NYSE, and the second, OpenDNS, was acquired by Cisco. Reflecting back, he sees how his joining the tech industry has positively impacted his family, friends, and career. It鈥檚 been a win-win, and the game鈥檚 still going!
