Jonathan founded Utopia (2015), a design and urban planning firm reimagining the future of slums. Utopia aims to convert slums into next generation microcities. He founded INCLUDED (2006), a nonprofit that provides a baseline of essential opportunities to migrants living in urban slums, primarily through a network of one-stop-shop community centers. Jonathan is an advisory board member of Harvard GSD鈥檚 Master of Design Engineering program, an advisory board member of the World Economic Forum鈥檚 Urbanization Initiative, and a recipient of the World Economic Forum鈥檚 Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year award.
