This document discusses digital tools and strategies for digital PhD students. It introduces the #DigitalPhD community and explores connectivism as a learning theory for digital learning. It outlines Kleiner's six varieties of knowledge networks and examines three digital themes - access, scholarly digital tools, and tools for successful/unsuccessful interaction and engagement. Specific tools are discussed, like Canvas, Google Hangouts, Backchannel chat apps, Google Drive, and social media. The document concludes with a scenario example of how digital PhD students could collaborate using these tools to complete an assignment.
