Brazilian, is currently an international consultant in forest economics and policy. From 2000 until February of 2009, wasSenior Natural Resources Specialist in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), working in the Environmental, Rural Development, and Disaster Risk Management Division of the Infrastructure and Environment Department in the Bank’s headquarter in Washington DC. His tasks included the development of forest policy and investment project design tools.
